Pico de Loro

How to go there
There are generally two jump-off points for the Pico de Loro climb but the one we have experienced is the one along the Ternate Hi-way going to Caylabne Bay Resort. Passing by Puerto Azul entrance, this jump-off point has a DENR marker you will never miss within the "magnet"
area.

To get there, catch a bus bound for Maragondon or Ternate Cavite at the Lawton or Baclaran Saulog bus line is one bus company who plies the route plus there are mini buses bound to that route. Then at Maragondon Cavite, hire a
jeep that will take you to the jump-off area or a tryke. From the jump-off point it will take you around 30 to 45 minutes to the base camp. The base camp is a good resting place, its also where you can refill your water bottles. Don't be shy to ask for indian mango they're selling it for 1 peso per piece. From the Base camp it will took you 1 to 2 hours to hike the camping grounds near the summit. Also there is a hidden waterfalls just a few minutes away from the basecamp.

Tips
You must consider packing lightly for there will be steep portion throughout the hike, water source is not available near the summit , and wear protective clothing from the sun.
